This is a nice lightweight beanie which I purchased for myself. I wear it on the cold evenings when friends like to gather for a barbecue outdoors. It keeps my head and ears warm, which is what i need when there’s a breeze blowing. Item is as described and the price was quite reasonable.

I have 3 of these hats now in different colors. They are the best beanie I have every bought, warm on the coldest of days and the only beanie that looks pretty good on my ugly bonce.

For 5.11, a brand well established and reliable, this is a disappointing piece of clothing. It is a very poor fit, and doesn't fit your head well enough, often leaving your ears exposed, as well as being shapeless. The quality of the fleece material is good, but you won't be wearing it long enough to get any benefit from it! Avoid, there are far better beanie hats out there.

I use a lot of 5.11 products and love them, however I was a little disappointed with their ‘Tactical Patrol Watch Beanie’. It’s very small (it doesn’t go past the top of the ears) and the stitching makes it oddly shaped on the head. It’s also super thin. I now use it as a backup/emergency beanie as its size makes it great to fit into a tiny space in my EDC.
