These 5.11 Pants have also been Teflon treated to help resist liquid and dirt staining and feature a handy larger side pocket with interior pocket to securely hold two gun mags. The 5.11 Tactical TDU Ripstop Pant is seriously resilient and versatile and also available in different colours to match the rest of your kit.
Lightweight products feature lightweight materials and constructions to reduce the user’s load and aid mobility. Lightweight clothing products are thin and provide very little or no cushioning and insulation. They are best used for high-intensity or warm-weather pursuits, or employed as part of a layering system.
Rip Stop is a lightweight nylon fabric with interwoven rip-stop reinforcement threads in a cross hatch pattern. It's woven with a coarse, strong warp and filling yarns at intervals so that tears will not spread. Rip-stop is used in construction of hot air balloons and yacht sails but in this case very effectively on outdoor clothing.

Well constructed trousers. Very spacious pockets with strong stitching. Extra reinforced seat so no chance of splitting. Trousers legs have ankles ties which are useful for securing to work boots.

Awesome trousers for police patrols. Comfortable to wear and the elastic waistband is good idea especially coming upto xmas. Pockets are designed well. I’d get a second pair to alternative use them on shifts. Pricey but you get what u pay for. Better than police issue trousers that fade and shrink.

Overall, an excellent pair of pair of pants. The one downside is the velcro on the leg pockets - the velcro patches should be larger to avoid opening and include a patch in the middle.

5.11 gear isn't good - it's excellent. I discovered the brand when I bought a shirt from a notable auction website. I now have 6 shirts and 3 pairs of trousers. The last purchase is the Tactical TDU trousers, very well made as I would expect, and extremely comfortable. Slightly higher in waist band the trousers are more suitable for active work the elasticated sections in the top with belt loops covering all bases. As with many 5.11 products the material has a Teflon treatment which resists dirt and grime so the trousers stay looking good for longer. Would I buy another pair ? Of course I would !!

Nice fit ! comfort! like the elasticated waistband this is the main area I had problems with other pants . . now I sit in comfort !
also another area I had a problem was the crotch area to get the right fit and size and comfort was impossible . . now I have room and support . .

Bought these pants at short notice... Delivery was within 24hrs of ordering.
The pants overall are excellent, water resistant! Mud just brushes off when dry! Comfort & movement is execellent also... As I used wore the pants whilst working a dog over rough terrain and thick undergrowth!! Excellent product!
