Weighing just over one 1kg, the Stratosphere Bivvi tent is the perfect lightweight tent to take with you if you’re unsure of the distance to your next campsite. Suitable for one person, this tent is easy to set-up, waterproof and created to withstand extreme weather. Alloy stakes create a canopy-style head room, mesh panel at the back provides ventilation and the No-See-Um mosquito net keeps the small biting visitors at bay. Putting practicality and urgency first, The Stratosphere can be set up and taken down in minutes and packs small into the provided stuff sack, making it the ideal one-man tent for emergency situations.

Lightweight products feature lightweight materials and constructions to reduce the user’s load and aid mobility. Lightweight clothing products are thin and provide very little or no cushioning and insulation. They are best used for high-intensity or warm-weather pursuits, or employed as part of a layering system. Lightweight
Constructed from Aluminium, a lightweight yet strong metal, which has the added benefit of resisting corrosion. Aluminium
Rip Stop is a lightweight nylon fabric with interwoven rip-stop reinforcement threads in a cross hatch pattern. It's woven with a coarse, strong warp and filling yarns at intervals so that tears will not spread. Rip-stop is used in construction of hot air balloons and yacht sails but in this case very effectively on outdoor clothing. Rip Stop
Beat the wettest of weather conditions. Waterproof

The tent feels very resistant and well constructed. The zipper that goes all the way from head until legs comes in very handy. The aluminium poles are quite sturdy and give good tension to the fabric. When inside you don't feel claustrophobic as you have enough space to read a book or use your smartphone. I didn't have problems with condensation even though I was camping in a wet site. It wasn't raining though. If you are looking for a bivy shelter which is more than just a cover for your sleeping bag, this is certainly the optimal choice in terms of price, weight and effectiveness.
