Handy set of straps/mounting options. Can be used on any brand pack that has MOLLE - I used them on a Medics pack as compression straps - Can be used to the same effect as Kifarus dock n lock system

I bought this item to use as lower compression straps on a Rush 12 (Excellent Rucksack) backpack that I recently purchased. They do a really good job but I do feel that 5.11 should put lower compression straps as standard on their Rush 12 and 24 rucksacks.

I find 5.11 are world leaders in the products they sell. IV never been disappointed with anything IV purchased. The rush tier system is a great idea. I now can carry my 12/24 hr 5.11 backpacks together. Very pleased with the product.

Great bit of gear. I'm using them to act as compression straps on the bottom of a rush 24. Does a great job.

As far as the official blub goes, the 5.11 Tactical Rush Tier System 4 is primarily designed to allow for the attachment of “…5.11 Tactical® RUSH™ MOAB™ bags to 5.11 Tactical’s other bags with web platforms”. The set comprises additional webbing straps and attachment points similar to those found on the 5.11 bags, and which is easily integrated into the existing webbing platforms. My reason for purchasing the set, however, was to integrate the straps into my 5.11 Tactical RUSH 24 Pack - given that this bag has only a single set of compression straps, it does have the tendency to bulge in the bottom half, especially when not loaded in full. The Tier system does a great job in tightening up the pack, and allows for kit like bivvy poles to be more securely carried. The straps of course reflect the usual 5.11 standard of quality, but given that their primary purpose is not to act as compression straps, it remains to be seen whether they will stand up to the job over the long run. No probs thus far though.
